Are therapy session confidential?

Yes what is discussed in therapy sessions is confidential, however I am required to share information to appropriate services if I believe you are at risk of harm or could harm another person.

Which therapy organisation are you a member of?

I am a member of the Collage of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and a condition of that membership is to abide by the Code of Ethics and Practice for General and Accredited Members which is available by clicking here.

I’m not in a relationship, would sex therapy be helpful?

Yes, being single or not being in a long term relationship doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a great sex life, and identifying that you have a sexual difficulty and seeking help to resolve it can make embarking on future relationships a lot easier.

My partner doesn’t want to attended therapy sessions with me, can therapy still be beneficial if I attend on my own?

I recommend that both partners attend therapy however, I would still be able to see an individual in a relationship. I would welcome your partner’s attendance at any point of your treatment; however I would normally see your partner for at least one individual session...
